All of us at Hale Ranch recognize that the youth of today are the future of our industry, and because of that we are excited to introduce our futurity program. We will be retaining a portion of the heifer sales to implement a program designed to allow any junior exhibitor who purchases a heifer in the sale to come back and show it in a special class held the evening before next year's sale. The prize money will total $12,000.00 and will be paid out as follows:
1st place - $4000.00
2nd place - $3000.00
3rd place - $2000.00
There will also be lucky draws for every exhibitor who participates, but does not place, to have a chance at winning part of $3000.00. Our intent is to encourage our junior exhibitors to work hard on their projects and then to recognize and reward them for their efforts.
